Shiloh has rich brown color, dark amber eyes, wonderful confirmation, size an impeccable temperament, Shiloh has  a beautiful stance and showy gait, He is a gentle giant, who is kind, loyal and so lovable he endears all those who cross his path. 

Josephine/Shiloh will have wonderful working companion puppies with great temperaments!

Pups should be here the end of June!!!  Ultrasound has been done and lots of little heart beats!! Will xray at 40+ days for the last count of puppies.....

The wonderful white male belongs to Bill and Laurie..His name is "Katana" which means POWER.. big swords and blades! It does fit him..He was the first born and is very big! What a nice guy..

Our other male is Dark brown and was born number 6 He is a very big boy, and strong..

I have DNA tested the browns and should have the tests back in 3 to 4 weeks..some of them have mamas and papa's also...The Cafe' is a wonderful champagne color, big, strong, very nice girl....

Everyone in the litter has hit the 2 pound mark on wt..Eating well!! not bad for 11 days old! Mama is Raw fed......

Dora the explorer is walking and eye's are starting to open!!..She is a dark brown girl..The same with Precious,("nell") and chamagne( cafe) Iam sure the rest will follow very soon.

1. Nell Scored Mostly 3’s...Neil can be a bit reserved and likes to watch before she leaps. Very sweet and easy going she did well on Retrieving but did not return to tester with object but ran away with it... I still feel that she would do well on Retrieving and will return to you with object with training. Loves to be with people does play/fight well with litter mates. Very solid little girl. Nells new name is Cappuccino "Cappi" She lives in Wy

1. Lady Scored Mostly 3’s doing very well on Retrieving returning object back to tester. Lady can also be a bit reserved likes to watch before she leaps. Very sweet loving little girl. Lady, I feel will be about the size of her Mama (Jose) She seems to look the smallest of my girls. She has a very very pretty face and sweet nature...She does like to be busy and doing things. Plays/fights well with her litter mates.  Lady's new name is Lady ZZ sounds like Zee -Zee..She lives in Nv.

These guys are too big for my puppy scale so I got a human scale and wt pups!

Lady and Athena found the compost pile!! Boy, were they dirty!! They all got a bath....Same color of the dirt..Playing hide and seek!

P.A.T test Results.

Testing is always done by people that the pups do not know and have never been around and in a area that they have never been in and do not know. No one can be around them but the tester and Score taker during the testing.

1. Cody Scored Mostly 3’s. He does love to be with people, hugs, kisses, and lots of love. He did chase after object picked it up but did not return it to the tester. Still, I believe he will do GREAT on Retrieving with training... He did not like the sound sensitivity test. Banging metal spoon on bottom of a metal pan.  He Back away on this. I don’t see this as a problem…he is very brave and outgoing..

                        Interpreting the Scores as follows

For that first time, wonderfully easy to train, potential star, look for a puppy that has quite a few 4’s and 3’s. This is out of Jack and Wendy’s Volhard books and the P.A.T test is also out of their book.

Mostly 3’s

• Can be a high-energy dog and may need lots of exercise.
• Good with people and other animals.
• Can be a bit of a handful to live with
• Needs training, does very well at it and learns quickly.
• Great dog for second-time owner.

All of my pups scored in Mostly 3’s...If you would like to look up the test go to Jack and Wendy Volhard web site or it is also in their book A Well-Trained Dog. Each of my puppy owners will get a copy of their dogs tests for their records.

JOSEPHINE is full of LIFE!  Very loving and close to all she is around..Josephine achieves  anything she has been taught.  She has a beauiful showy  gate and is very athletic!  She is a high Achiever!

She hunts, packs and starting to learn to cart. She is a very hard worker with tons of smarts!

Sire and Dam are Gorgeous Standard Poodles (Browns)… they are Beauty and Brains! Both are certified on their health tests which you can see on OFA.

They should have nice leg for working birds and a strong Retrieving drive. Some pups should be nice size for Carting.

Methods of Stimulation

        The U.S. Military in their canine program developed a method that still serves as a guide to what works. In an effort to improve the performance of dogs used for military purposes, a program called "Bio Sensor" was developed. Later, it became known to the public as the "Super Dog" Program. Based on years of research, the military learned that early neurological stimulation exercises could have important and lasting effects. Their studies confirmed that there are specific time periods early in life when neurological stimulation has optimum results. The first period involves a window of time that begins at the third day of life and lasts until the sixteenth day. It is believed that because this interval of time is a period of rapid neurological growth and development, and therefore is of great importance to the individual.

The pups are growing FAST!! Most are almost  at the 5 lb mark..Personalities are really starting to emerged..They are starting to eat meat with their milk now(Mama needs alittle help)When they are not sleeping,eating,they are trying to play,wag their tail,watching you..Learning to bark...Boy, was that a surprise at 2 in the morning!! Big brown boy has a very loud bark for a pup..He is all boy...... More pictures to come..

   Milo also scored mostly 3’s. I also see this in Milo. She does have a lot of energy and love’s to be with people.  Dora Scored Mostly 3’s she can be very outgoing and will go up to the older dogs without fear! Play with me she is always saying to the older dogs. She seems to have NO Fear. She can be very quiet, sweet, outgoing and very loving. She did chase after the object on Retrieving but did not return or pick it up to bring back to tester. Again with training I feel Dora will retrive and return to her trainer!! Dora always has her tail up and is outging.   Dora's name is Dora and she lives With us!! Daddy's little girl...                        

     Athena Scored mostly 3’s she also did very well on Retrieving returning back to tester with object. Athena live's with us and will be a Breeding hopeful for our breeding program..Mama's little girl!! Athena is Dreamscapes Homozygous brown!!

**Guide dog trainers have the greatest faith in this test. A dog that retrieves nearly always works out to be a Guide Dog because it indicates a willingness to please the owner**

The pups are learning to mix with the older dogs..Cyrus likes to play with them..Pups pictures are Dora,Cody,Nell,Lady with big dogs, Cephas,Ginny, and Cyrus. Jose is off chasing the other babies!!!

 All of my pups are very out going and seem to have their tails up being very brave with whatever they encounter...The litter seems too be very balanced. All being about the same in temperament. Of course with some variations being different in nature and sex.

I do sound desensitizing everyday with many different sounds that they may encounter in their future.

All of the pups did Great if not very well on Retrieving which I will continue to work with until they go to their new mama's and papa's.   

Being poodles and very athletic dogs they do have energy but are not hyper!

I am sooooooo very pleased with this whole litter and feel that they will all make great working companions and some to be just companions that can be very showy, smart and ready to do whatever they are being taught.
